Plot

A young woman tries to ease the pain of her fiancé's death by sending romantic texts to his old cell phone number, and forms a connection with the man the number has been reassigned to.

My Thoughts

I actually enjoyed this. I watched it while I had dinner. It was a perfect Valentine's watch to watch alone (I had the lurgy so I had dinner in the bedroom while Michael was downstairs - not the way we would choose on not just Valentine's Day but also a big birthday). The actual premise of the film I guess does happen - numbers get reassigned, I had never thought of that before. I suppose the only way to stop it happening is for the living person to have a pay as you go sim and never top it up.

I liked the cameo for Céline, it was an interesting way to bring a singer into the film but not have it be about them. it is the first thing I have seen @Lydia West in since It's a Sin but this was a much smaller role, after the success of that I expected to see her in lead roles by now. The two leads @Priyanka Chopra Jonas and @Sam Heughan were good. Their characters were both enjoyable and both grew during the film.

It was an all round feel good film that I am happy to give a 4.5 out of five. Five star films are those I keep revisiting so time will tell if it goes up in the ranking.
